Gwel Yr Afon is right at the heart of Llandudno Junction conveniently located just a couple of minutes from the A55 trunk route in one direction and a couple of minutes to the beautiful, historic town of Conwy (world heritage site) in the other direction.
The transport links are second to none. There are direct routes from Llandudno Junction train station to Chester and Manchester with Cardiff and London being just three hours direct journeys. There is a bus service adjacent to the development which runs to Conwy, Llandudno and further afield to Bangor and Snowdonia National Park areas.
For those who love the outdoors or any type of water sports this part of the North Wales Coast is absolutely perfect. The development is close to four golf courses and the new Deganwy Quay Marina with it’s new hotel and boating facilities just one and half miles from Gwel Yr Afon. It is also within half a mile from the national coastal cycle path (route 5).
Perhaps one of the most important locations for a new development in the whole of Conwy county at the moment, Llandudno Junction with Snowdonia as the back drop is home to the new Welsh Assembly Government Offices and a transport hub, making it an all important gateway to North Wales. Llandudno Junction is well known for it’s community spirit and has a good selection of shops and amenities.
There is a Tesco, Cineworld and leisure complex on the doorstep and the beautiful Victorian shopping town of Llandudno is just a few minutes car journey away.
