The Location

Whilst Gwel Y Castell benefits from a lovely, semi rural peaceful location nestled at the foot of the Bodysgallen woods, just behind Llandudno Junction, it is also only a few minutes from the A55 trunk road. Just 45 minutes to Chester in one direction and 45 minutes to the Snowdonia National Park in the other direction, this location is the best of both worlds.

Llandudno Junction offers a wide range of amenities such as: Tesco, Asda & Cineworld along with plenty of schools, dentists and medical centres, making it an extremely convenient and easy location to live. The transport links are second to none being an integral part of the bus route and having one of the most important railway stations in the area with London and Cardiff just a direct 3 and half hours away.

Deganwy, just a few minutes drive away offers lovely restaurants, and of course the breathtaking Deganwy Quay Marina with it’s fabulous hotel, bar and restaurant with a stunning terrace that overlooks Conwy Castle, Conwy Estuary and Conwy Mountain. The picturesque Victorian seaside town of Llandudno is just another few minutes away offering fantastic shops and a new retail park.

For those who enjoy water sports of any kind or just the great outdoors, there are beautiful walks right on your doorstep at Gwel Y Castell and the mediaeval walled town of Conwy is a pleasant stroll away. With a plethora of beaches on your doorstep to choose from, Gwel Y Castell really is a stunning location.

There is a Tesco, Cineworld and leisure complex on the doorstep and the beautiful Victorian shopping town of Llandudno is just a few minutes car journey away.
